Central Healthcare in Scarborough in appeal to some of its patients over vaccination session on Sunday

A plea is being made for over 70s and vulnerable people in Scarborough to attend a coronavirus vaccination session on Sunday.

Central Healthcare is offering immunisations to its eligible patients at Scarborough Rugby Union's club Silver Royd, on Scalby Road.

They are looking for people who are over 70 or registered as clinically extremely vulnerable, and who are patients of Central Healthcare.

These patients are the next priority group to receive the free NHS Covid-19 vaccine.

Even if they have not been contacted, people in this group are eligible, say Central Healthcare, and are being asked to attend the rugby club on Sunday February 7 between 10am and 1pm.

They should bring their NHS number and wear a mask.

People should not ring their surgery as phone lines are very busy. They can attend the vaccination clinic as long as they are eligible.
