Eden Camp to turn water tower blue tomorrow night to show support for key workers
A water tower at Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum will turn blue this week to show solidarity for NHS workers.
Staff from the museum in Malton will also be out waving blue flags to show their support during Thursday night’s 8pm clap for carers.
Marketing manager for the museum Harriet Stainton said: “Here at Eden Camp Modern History Theme Museum, we have never been prouder of our country pulling together in times of need!
“The country has united for the past few Thursdays to applaud the astounding efforts displayed from our key workers, volunteers and caregivers in the NHS.
“With the NHS leading the fight against Covid-19 in the UK, the staff, volunteers and supporters from Eden Camp want to do our bit to show our immense gratitude.”
The museum is currently shut until further notice due to coronavirus restrictions.
