Also, Scalby School in Scarborough has told its Year 10 students to isolate for 14 days after a pupil in the year group tested positive for coronavirus.

The rest of the school’s age groups are not affected.

The testing has been organised by the Department of Health and Social Care which has warned people to not just turn up but make an appointment first.

There are two ways to do this depending on which testing group you are part of.

Anyone who is showing coronavirus symptoms should register for a test on the NHS website.

People who do not have access to the internet, or who have difficulty with the digital portals, can ring the 119 service to book.

Tests can also be booked here from 8pm tonight.
