Latest Covid-19 infection rate for Scarborough borough as fall continues

The borough’s seven day infection rate per 100,000 people has fallen to 69, its lowest level since September 30 and a drop of 11 on yesterday.

Scarborough is now averaging 11 new cases every day, compared to 17 last week.

The average infection rate for England stands at 141 while in North Yorkshire as a whole has now dropped below 100 to 99.

Mobile testing facilities will be available in Whitby, Scarborough and Filey this week for anyone with symptoms to get tested.
