Mobile coronavirus testing site in Scarborough again this weekend

Key workers and priority individuals in Scarborough will be able to be tested for coronavirus once again this weekend.

The military-run mobile testing facility will be at the town’s Seamer Road park and ride site for three days.

The tests are for people who have registered online and the site will be open Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

A North Yorkshire County Council spokesman said: “High demand for testing sites appointments means that not everyone will always be able to get an appointment for every employer referral.

“The portal is now open and text messages are now being sent to those previously referred. Thank you for your patience.”
