A number of Yorkshire areas rank in the top 25 for most coronavirus deaths over the last month, when the data is broken down to deaths per 100,000 people. Scarborough comes in third and Barnsley also features in the top 10.


. Scarborough
Scarborough has had another 19 people die with Covid-19 between October 7 and November 7, a rate of 19.3 per 100,000 people, meaning it is third in the national list, and top in Yorkshire

. Barnsley
A further 40 people have died in Barnsley with Covid-19, a rate of 16.9 per 100,000 people, making it sixth in the UK

. Rotherham
Rotherham has had a further 26 people die with coronavirus in the last month. It is 22nd in the country

9. Bradford
Bradford comes in at 80th in the country, and ninth in Yorkshire, with a rate of 9.2 deaths per 100,000 people. Another 43 people have died with Covid-19 in the last month.

10. Leeds
Leeds has the highest number of deaths in the last month - 61 - but that gives it a rate of 8.9 deaths per 100,000 people.
