The latest ONS data shows the number of deaths and the percentage of deaths caused by Covid-19, which were registered between March 2020 and February 2021. Every death is tragic and the latest figures come as the country will mark the one-year anniversary of the start of the first lockdown with a Day of Reflection on Tuesday March 23. There will be a minute's silence at 12:00 GMT with people encouraged to light up their doorsteps that night.
5. Ayton and Snainton
10 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 14 per cent of all deaths recorded.
6. Newby and Scalby
17 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 13 per cent of all deaths recorded.
7. Burniston, Sleights and Fylingdales
13 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 13 per cent of all deaths recorded.
8. Scarborough Town and North Bay
10 deaths from Covid-19 were registered between March 2020 and February 2021, 11 per cent of all deaths recorded.
