Sainsbury's delays the reopening of its Scarborough cafe

Sainsbury's in Scarborough has delayed reopening its cafe, which was due to take place today.

A sign in the store had said the upstairs cafe would reopen at 8am on Wednesday September 23.

The company said last week that it would be reopening its 280 in-store cafes by the end of September.

But today it said: "We are temporarily pausing the phased reopening of some of our cafes while we review the latest government guidance.
