Wetherspoons - which includes the Lord Rosebery in Scarborough, The Angel in Whitby and Prior John in Bridlington - has launched its own reduced prices scheme on a range of meals and drinks from Mondays to Wednesday until November 11.

Pizza Hut - which has a branch in Scarborough - is offering two-for-one mains on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from September 7 if you are signed up to its newsletter.

Stonehouse Pizza - at Scalby Manor - is offering 50 per cent off main meals until September 9.
