Appeal for witnesses after theft from car in Scarborough

Police in Scarborough are appealing for information after some personal items were stolen from a parked car in the town.

The incident occurred between 8.30am and 4pm on Wednesday October 15 when the offenders smashed the passenger side window of a red Skoda which had been parked in the underground car park on Scarborough’s South Bay, before stealing £250 worth of personal items from inside the car.

Special Constable Liam Cromack of Scarborough Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you were in or near the car park on the day and saw anybody acting suspiciously, please contact me as it may be linked to my investigation.”
