Nearly 300 guests, including the Mayor of Scarborough, representatives from businesses of all sizes and a wealth of young talent, will attend.
The evening is a fun-packed black tie event with entertainment and an enjoyable three course meal, which is funded for apprentices and their guests by the sponsors.
Last year was the first time that the STARS, a collaborative apprenticeship awards ceremony organised by current/ex apprentices, took place.
It provides an opportunity for both employers and providers to vote for their very own outstanding apprentices.
Katie Abley, employment and skills partnership manager at Scarborough Jobmatch/ is the project manager of STARS 2016.
“The committee have been working extremely hard to ensure the event succeeds and gets bigger and better year upon year,” she said.
“We are all so passionate about the event and what it stands for; truly believing that the event gives recognition where it is deserved.
“We would like to thank our amazing sponsors as without them, the event wouldn’t happen so thank you!”
