Stamp and coin enthusiasts can have their treasured collections valued by a team of experts in Scarborough next week.

On Wednesday (March 6) a team of experts from auctioneers Warwick and Warwick will be on hand to offer their advice at the Clifton Hotel, in Queen’s Parade, from 9am-1pm.

A spokesman for the firm said: “We will be pleased to advise on the sale of stamps, coins, banknotes, postcards, cigarette cards, medals, toys and models and will be accepting material for valuation and sale.

“Collections of merit will be inspected and valued by our team of experts in Warwick. There will be no fee for valuation - all that we ask is the cost of returning the collection, fully insured, to your door, if you decide not to sell.

“Please phone 01926 49903 or email for an appointment if you have a large or valuable collection. Home visits may be possible for exceptionally large collections.”
