TEN young artists from as far afield as Germany and Hong Kong have been involved in a school art exhibition in Scarborough.
The Scarborough College Visual Arts Exhibition featured work that students have been doing for their International Baccalaureate.
Eight of the students were being examined at Higher Level and two at Standard Level.
A spokesman said: “The show promoted all that is good about art at the college, with a variety of approaches, from the traditional to more contemporary methods.
“Academic drawing is enjoying a resurgence at the college under the tutelage of head of art, Paul Sutcliffe, and it was this common thread which underpinned some of the most successful contributions.
“Two of this year’s students, Molly Coombs and Eliza McMillan, have secured places on the Leeds College of Art Foundation Course and their work was viewed as a particular highlight.
Around 200 guests enjoyed the show, as the college played host to what will become one of many at this excellent venue.”
