SCARBOROUGH Athletic’s chairman is still recovering in hospital following a car accident at the weekend.
Richard Adamson was involved in a crash on the outskirts of Leeds after he black out while driving as he left the club’s away fixture at Farsley on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the accident, and Mr Adamson was taken to hospital in Leeds where he was put in intensive care.
Mr Adamson is still undergoing further test at the hospital, however he has now been transferred from intensive car to a high dependency ward.
Scarborough Athletic’s communications director James Hunter said: “Richard’s condition is not yet fully known but we are keeping close contact.
“We will update concerned supporters as soon as possible.
“Best wishes go to Richard and for a speedy recovery.”
