Award for local NHS Trust

A LOCAL NHS trust has been awarded the top score in the healthcare sector of a national hospitality accreditation scheme.

Esk and Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, which runs Cross Lane Hospital in Scarborough, is now in 10th place of the 139 accredited organisations nationwide after being awarded ‘Hospitality Assured’ standard for service and business excellence is the quality standard from the Institute of Hospitality, specifically for customer facing businesses.

This is the fifth year the Trust has been awarded this prestigious award for its high standards, and secures its position at the top of the healthcare sector category for the third year.
