Awareness project for cyclists

FALSGRAVE Community Resource Centre in Seamer Road is holding an “Etch it, Lock it, Keep it” community cycle awareness project.

It will take place on Thursday between 4.30pm and 5.30pm.

Police community support officer Rowland Baxter will be etching the bicycles so people are invited to bring their bikes, old or new.

Everyone is welcome to come along and take part in the event.

The session will include free security bike stamping by Scarborough police and basic bicycle maintenance information provided by Halfords.

PCSO Baxter will also be on hand to discuss any other community issues.

For further information call duty manager Andrew Stone on (01723) 374437.
