Scarborough’s spectacular Goldwings Light Parade is set to roar back into town on Saturday September 8.
The annual event is again being staged to raise money for the RNLI and has collected in more than £21,000 for the charity since 2008.
Activities will centre around the lifeboat house in South Bay throughout the day.
There will be a huge static display of Goldwings along Foreshore Road from 10am to 4.30pm.
Last year the impressive display featured around 200 bikes.
It will include some of the world’s top touring motorbikes and people will have the chance to get pictures of their children on a Goldwing.
Attractions will also include a tombola stall, raffle prizes, music, and face painting.
A new addition for this year will be a bungee jump at West Pier provided by the Extreme Sensations Bungee and Zip Lining Club.
People can sign up in advance to do a sponsored bungee jump in aid of the RNLI.
Daredevils wishing to take part just need to raise £100 or more in sponsorship to jump for free.
To register your jump, fill in an application form and pay a £20 deposit. You will then receive a sponsor pack.
On the day, you will pay £30 which covers your jump fee. This is retrievable from your sponsor monies on reaching the minimum target.
All other money raised goes to the RNLI. Please contact Val on 07974 825216 for details and sponsor forms.

When the day’s events draw to a close, it will be time for the event’s grand finale - the spectacular Light Parade.
The Goldwings will gather from 6.30pm, assembling in West Pier car park.
The parade will start at 8pm, with the magnificent bikes leaving the car park and heading to the Aquarium Top roundabout before returning back down Foreshore Road, along Sandside, Marine Drive, Royal Albert Drive to Peasholm Gap.
At this point the procession will do an about turn and head back to the starting point.
The parade is expected to last until approximately 8.45pm.
The event will feature bikes playing music and displaying their show lights, with members of the public encouraged to bring their cameras.
