MEMBERS of a Scarborough bingo club have been seeing yellow after the launch of Marie Curie Cancer Care’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
The Mecca Bingo club is supporting the charity’s annual fundraising appeal through a range of events including yellow themed days, charity auctions and street collections.
The Great Daffodil Appeal is Marie Curie’s flagship fundraiser which takes place in March. This year it aims to raise more than £5.5million.
Throughout the month, everyone across the UK is encouraged to give a donation for a Marie Curie daffodil pin. All money raised will allow Marie Curie nurses to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes.
