Blaze at home in Eastfield, Scarborough, believed to have been started by battery charger
A battery charger is thought to have caused a blaze at a house in Eastfield yesterday.
Two men needed oxygen and were taken to hospital as a precaution after the fire in Overdale at 11.37am.
Crews from Scarborough and Filey were called to deal with the fire in the bedroom of the house.
It caused damage to the room including a pile of clothing and bed.
The flames had been put out by two men using buckets of water by the time firefighters arrived.
