Blaze at Middleton, Ryedale, destroys part of workshop

Firefighters were called to a fire in a workshop near Pickering.

The blaze destroyed one of two bays at the workshop in Middleton just after 1pm yesterday.

The building contained two empty cylinders which were cooled by fire crews.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
