Boss Steve Kittrick believes that his players will have a point to prove when Scarborough Athletic host Droylsden on Tuesday night.

Boro have slumped away from the promotion race in recent weeks with a run of poor results, the latest being a 2-1 reverse at mid-table Atherton on Saturday.

Kittrick, who goes into the game with a full squad to choose from, has underlined that it is time to terminate the off-colour form.

"The players will be hurting and they will have a point to prove in the next few games," he said.

"We have lost two of our last three games in all competitions, which is poor. It is time that run ended and we put a positive run together.

"There were no more injury problems from Saturday, so we go into it with a full-strength squad of players."
