Scarborough Athletic boss Steve Kittrick is now looking forward to watching his side in friendly action after training got underway on Saturday
Boro begin their preparatory friendlies on Tuesday evening (7.30pm) at Scarborough RUFC’s Silver Royd when they tackle the Scarborough Saturday League Rep Team for the Steve Adamson Trophy.
This will give Boro fans the opportunity to watch a number of new signings in action, as well as the familiar faces, who helped the club book promotion from the Evo-Stik Premier last season.
Supporters will also be given the chance to watch Boro in training action on Saturday when they hold an open session at the Flamingo Land Stadium at 1pm.
Kittrick said: “The lads trained well on Saturday and now the games start to come thick and fast as we prepare for the season.
“In the early part of pre-season it will be a case of giving players a half here and there to ease them back into things. It is all about working out which will be the starting 11 for that first game of the season.”
