After sealing promotion to the Evo-Stik Premier on Saturday, Scarborough Athletic will soon be switching their attention to next season.
Chairman Trevor Bull and the board will be sitting down with boss Steve Kittrick to discuss the challenges that lie ahead.
Bull said: “We will use the gap between Saturday’s final home game and the North Riding FA Cup final to work through things, it is important that we are in a good place.
“It will be a much tougher league and one we don’t know that much about.
“We have set a budget, but again that could be improved by the amount of fans that continue to come through the gates.
“We showed that this season, Steve wanted James Walshaw and he turned out to be a player that played a huge part in helping us over the line.
“We will spend only what we can afford, but again it is more fans, better players.”
