Steve Kittrick will be Scarborough Athletic's manager next season after agreeing terms with the club.
Kittrick, who has turned Boro from relegation battlers to promotion hopefuls in just over a year, is now focusing on sparking success in the club's first season at the Scarborough Leisure Village.
He has already been speaking to a number of players to boost the squad over what will be a busy summer.
Kittrick said: "I have agreed terms on a non-contract basis and I am really looking forward to next season.
"Missing out on the play-offs was very frustrating for the club, but we will be looking to build on that.
"I am already speaking to players because it is important that we get things sorted early."
Chairman Trevor Bull added: "We are delighted that Steve is staying on as manager, that is what we wanted all along.
"He has turned this club from one haunted by relegation to one that just missed out on promotion, which is a superb feat.
"We have agreed a playing budget that is similar to last season. We don't want to be splashing the cash, but we will review the situation as we go along.
"It is now time to start building the team for next season, talking to the players that want to stay and potential new players.
"This is a very exciting time for the club and we are keen to make this a season to look forward to."
