BREAKING: Body found in Peasholm Park
Police have confirmed that a body has been discovered in Peasholm Lake.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "A man’s body has been recovered from the water, in the area of the park near the bandstand.
"An ambulance was called but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are currently at the scene and a full investigation is ongoing.
