LOCALLY manufactured cable cleats are being installed in a new power plant in the Czech Republic.
Rilling based Ellis won the contract to supply the 660MWe power station, which is being built in the foothills of the Krusne Mountains by the country’s largest electricity producer, CEZ.
When commissioned in 2014 it will be the most modern brown coal powered plant in central Europe, producing more electricity than the combined output of the five other units that have been located on the site since the 1960s.
Petr Kubelka, the Aengineering manager responsible for the Ledvice Power Plant project, said: “We had no hesitation specifying Ellis’ Emperor cleats. They were perfect in terms of quality and installation ease, and the company back-up this product quality with exceptionally good technical support.”
