YEARS of studying have paid off for a Scarborough accountant who is celebrating her newly achieved Chartered Certified status.
Jennifer Springham, of Asquith and Co Accountants in West Bank, has been working since 2004 towards the internationally recognised chartered accountancy qualification.
During her time at the practice she has taken on her own portfolio of clients, and is now looking forward to extending her client base as a result of her new status.
The firm, which is a gold standard training provider, also has two trainees hot on the heels of Miss Springham.
Colleagues Christopher Mattinson and Daniel Bulman passed a total of five papers for the same accounting body in one sitting.
The pair are now well on their way to achieving chartered status.
Mark Asquith, managing director at Asquith and Co, said: “We are very proud to announce a raft of excellent exam results, including Jennifer who has qualified as a chartered certified accountant.
“Jennifer, along with Christopher and Daniel, are all working hard to build on the established reputation of Asquith and Co as innovative and forward thinking accountants to the small and medium sized business sector.”
