A NETWORKING group for women running rural businesses has got off to a strong start with more than 30 members already on the cards.
The WiRE enjoyed an equally successful meeting after attracting 33 guests to its first ever event last month.
Last week women met at the Downe Arms in Wykeham for a presentation by Kim Hume and Polly Pearson from Solve Accounting and Finance.
Tina Carne, who set up the network with Katrina Shamel, said: “A big thank you to everyone who attended our first event. It went really well and went on longer than expected because everyone really got stuck into the whole point of the event - networking.”
