Pirates ahoy at the Sea Life

SHIVER me timbers!

Staff at Scarborough Sea Life Centre donned their best pirate wears as they dressed like pirates to celebrate International Talk like a Pirate Day.

As part of the day’s celebrations the pirate crew taught any lucky landlubber who visited the centre how to speak with their special pirate vocabulary.

During the days events a competition was held for the child with the best Pirate speak.

Beth York, Front of House Assistant said “It was really fun being a pirate for the day and getting all the guests involved with all the pirate ruckus.

“I wish everyday was talk like a pirate day.”
