Everything from Ukranian Cossacks to Wensleydale cheese will be on the agenda for the 154th Great Yorkshire Show

It is organised by the Yorkshire Agricultural Society which anticipates more than 130,000 visitors to flock through the gates to see the best of British country life.

The event will be held at the Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate, on July 10-12, with gates opening at 7.30am each day.

A shop window for the agricultural industry, the three-day show has a packed programme of events

Thousands of animals, including cattle, sheep and horses, will compete for a coveted red rose at the show.

Ukrainian Cossacks are set to be a highlight of the main ring programme.

Around the showground visitors can also see show jumping and equine classes, international sheep shearing competitions and the English National Championships, demonstrations of dry stone walling, fly fishing, pole climbing and gundog training, cookery theatre, garden show, stands, fashion shows and regional produce.
