CABLE cleat manufacturer Ellis has appointed three new directors following a “significant” year of growth.
The Rillington-based company has promoted Andy Booth to technical director, Tony Conroy to export sales director and Danny Macfarlane to operations director.
They have been with the company for 12, 11 and nine years respectively.
The promotions coincide with a 14 percent increase in turnover during the last year, with the company securing significant contracts in South America, UAE and Central Asia, as well as increasing its market share in the UK.
The three new directors will join the existing four directors to help take the company on to its next stage of development.
Speaking about the promotions, managing director of Ellis Richard Shaw said: “As a British manufacturer we are extremely proud that our technical ability and quality has been recognised not only in the UK but across the world.
“In order to maintain this first class reputation we need to continue to deliver products of the highest quality and provide expert technical advice to our customers.
“The new directors have proved their worth time and again by delivering both aspects.
“Having worked closely with all three for many years I know that the skills and experience they will bring to the boardroom will be invaluable, as we plan for further growth over the next decade and beyond.”
