Kind-hearted members of the Trafalgar pub’s social club have donated £300 to Scarborough Dial a Ride. The proceeds were raised during the group’s regular raffles and race nights. Kev Hogg, social club secretary, said: “We try and do what we can for local charities. The social club has been raising money for the last 29 years or so.
“We try and keep it as local as possible. At a recent meeting someone mentioned that Dial a Ride does a lot of good work and is mostly run by volunteers, so we decided to give them the donation. They were delighted with it.”
