A SCARBOROUGH holiday park is giving schools pupils the chance to stay in a tipi as part of English Tourism Week.
To coincide with one of the tourism calendar’s top weeks Pinewood Holiday Park, in Racecourse Road, is running an art competition for children.
The prize is a tipi holiday for their whole class.
Owners Kerry and Dave Woodhead said: “The winning child will feel like a class hero!”
“Designing a promotional poster or studying the Native Americans can fit perfectly into so many parts of the National Curriculum and can be a fun way of learning.”
