Charity set to auction tickets and vouchers

A SCARBOROUGH charity is auctioning a number of donated tickets and vouchers to help raise much-needed funds.

Scarborough Disablement Action Group (DAG) has to raise £100,000 – half the cash to keep it going this year and the other £50,000 for next year.

Without the funds, the group – which provides essential support and advice for disabled people – will have to fold.

Tickets on offer – in exchange for a donation – include:

l a family ticket for four to see one of the summer shows at Scarborough’s Spa Theatre

l a free swim for two adults and two children at Scarborough Indoor Pool. Two of these tickets are available.

l a pass for up to two adults and three children to visit Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington, York

l a back massage or mini aroma facial at Pure Tranquility in Dean Road (worth around £15).

If you would like to make an offer for any of these tickets, please email or call (01723) 501396 and leave a message.

Whether by phone or email, please state clearly your name, contact telephone number, which ticket you would like and how much you would like to offer.

The deadline for offers is 5pm on Tuesday September 20.

Successful bidders will be notified by telephone.
