Cinder Track gets geared up

A POPULAR cycle track from Scarborough to Whitby is gearing up for another big year.

The Cinder Track has launched a new leaflet highlighting its features for riders to enjoy.

The old railway line took goods and passengers from Scarborough up and down the coast from 1885 until 1965.

Forming 21 miles of the National Cycle Network, it passes through quiet bays, such as Crook Ness, at Cloughton Wyke, Hayburn Wyke, Stoupe Beck Sands and Maw Wyke Hole.
