An exhibition of more than 40 previously-unseen works by Northern landscape artist Peter Hicks has been created exclusively for Coast Gallery in Cloughton.
The exhibition starts on Saturday April 12 and will run until mid-June, with selected pieces on show until the summer.
An invite-only preview event will be held on Friday April 11 from 6.30pm to 9pm - please contact the gallery if you are interested in attending.
A spokeswoman for the gallery said: “It is a rare occurrence for the entire ‘End Room’ high gallery space to be given over to a single artist.
“However we feel Peter Hicks’ work demands it and we are very excited to have him. The new work concentrates on the Yorkshire Dales in particular the limestone scenery of Gordale Scar and Malham.
“His most recent high profile exhibitions include Messum’s London Cork Street in Jan 2014 and Eton College.”
Prices of pieces in the exhibition range from the low hundreds to £11,000.
Peter Hicks lives and works in the village of Danby in North Yorkshire in the heart of the North York Moors National Park.
