Arsonists torch car
FIREFIGHTERS were called to Hertford Close in Eastfield after a car was believed to have been torched by arsonists.
The alarm was raised just after 2.40am yesterday (Thursday September 29) and the whole of the Rover car was damaged as a result.
They used one hose reel and two sets of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
A North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that the cause was believed to have been deliberate.
