Detective Sergeant Stu Fox, from Humberside Police's Protecting Vulnerable People team, said Walker plied his victims with drugs and offered money in return for not speaking out about what was happening.

“Walker is a perverted man who sought out vulnerable young people before grooming and abusing them for his own perverse gratification," said Det Sgt Fox. "Walker showed no regard for his victims, snatching both their innocence and their childhood from them.

"Not only did he ply them with drugs, but he also tried to control their lives, offering monetary rewards for their silence.

“Thankfully, he is now behind bars, where he can no longer continue his vile and heinous crimes.

“I want to take this opportunity to praise the victims, who have all shown great bravery in speaking out about their ordeal.

"It is because of their courage, throughout both the investigative and judicial proceedings, that Walker is now locked up and unable to target other young people.

“I hope that this sentence sends a clear messages to any other victims of sexual abuse that we will listen and support you and we will investigate thoroughly, doing everything we can to bring offenders before the courts.”

Anyone who is a victim of crime, or has concerns that someone they know is, can call police on 101.
