Court case for burglary and theft

A SCARBOROUGH man has appeared in court facing 10 charges of theft, burglary and handling stolen goods.

Dennis Reynolds, 30, of Hawthorn Walk in Eastfield, appeared in custody for the hearing at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court.

He declined to enter pleas to the charges which include two burglaries, five thefts, and three counts of handling stolen goods.

The two alleged burglaries took place between September 7 and 8 at Shire Croft.

All the offences are said to have taken place between May 9 and September 10.

Reynolds is alleged to have stolen a cheque, a Lloyds TSB bank card, golf clubs and equipment valued at £2,000, a Sat-nav and a wallet.

The case was committed to York Crown Court on November 21.

Reynolds was remanded in custody until committal proceedings on September 21.
