Date not set for trial

A PENSIONER charged with assault has had his case adjourned.

Federick Howard, 80, of Albemarle Crescent, has previously pleaded not guilty to one charge of assault.

The charge relates to an alleged incident in Prospect Mount Road on March 3 this year.

Howard pleaded not guilty at a hearing on May 9.

A date for his trial was due to be set at Scarborough Magistrates court yesterday.

However the case was adjourned until tomorrow.
