A SCARBOROUGH man who has been accused of unlawfully and maliciously inflicting grievous bodily harm appeared at court yesterday.
Jon Shellard, 20, of Hinderwell Road, is alleged to have committed the offence on October 27 last year in Seamer Road.
At the hearing yesterday, held at Scarborough Magistrates’ Court, the case was committed to York Crown Court.
Shellard, who was represented by Marcus Topham, was remanded in custody.
He spoke only to confirm his name, date of birth and address during the brief hearing.
He will appear at York Crown Court on July 11.
