A SCARBOROUGH man has appeared in court after admitting two counts of drug possession.
Robert Power, of Castle Road, was found to have a scales laced with amphetamine by police during a search of his home.
Power, 30, was also found to have cannabis and a grinder in November last year.
Mitigating, Caroline Wyatt said Power, who was detained in police cells for more than a day, was remorseful.
She added: “Small amounts of cannabis were found and there was also only a small amount of white powder on the scales.
“He has been in custody for quite some time.”
Magistrates decreed Power’s punishment was his time already served in the cells but also ordered a destruction of the drugs and paraphernalia.
