Man charged with quad bike driving offences in Scarborough

A man is due to appear in court charged with quad bike driving offences in Scarborough.

The 38-year-old man was arrested by police in Scarborough on April 27 2020.

Officers were on patrol at about 6.20pm when they signalled for a quad bike to stop on Fieldside, Scarborough however, it made off and was lost.

Later that evening, at about 10.45pm, a man was located on Oxcliff and arrested in connection with the incident.

He was subsequently charged with driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and failing to stop for police.

He is due to appear at Scarborough Magistrates Court on June 1 2020.
