A SCARBOROUGH man who has been convicted of harassment twice in one month has been back in court for breaching his restraining order.

George Eves, 56, of St Mary’s Walk, appeared before Scarborough magistrates to face the charge, along with an allegation of burglary.

Magistrates heard Eves had entered Castle Road, an area from which he is prohibited.

He is also said to have entered a property in Blenheim Terrace between December 23 and 29, where he allegedly stole photographs, spare house keys and spare car keys, and tarot cards.

Eves pleaded not guilty to both charges.

Magistrates adjourned the case until March 4 for a case management hearing, when it will be committed to crown court for trial. Eves was remanded in custody.
