Police appeal after woman punched in the face while waiting for the bus on Ramshill Road, Scarborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was punched in the face while waiting for the bus in Scarborough.

The assault took place on Ramshill Road at around 5.15pm on Wednesday January 22. The victim was waiting for a bus when she was attacked by another woman.

The suspect is described as a white, aged 35 to 40, of slim build, around 5ft 9in tall, with shoulder-length black hair, and she was wearing a black padded jacket with a hood.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

The assault happened on Ramshill Road.
