Police ask for help in identifying stolen goods

SCARBOROUGH police are appealing for help in tracing the owners of some items they believe may have been stolen.

A spokesman said: “It is suspected that the items have been stolen from vehicle crime or burglary in the Scarborough area over the last few months.

“A male is currently in custody helping police with enquiries.”

The items include:

l A Panasonic digital camera that contains images of a couple approximately 30 years old and a girl about three years old. The photos were taken at Legoland and also at a pub in York on August 3.

l A Daihatsu key with a wooden fob with a picture of the sailing ship Discovery on it.

l A safe-style key with a “Jules Rimet” World Cup fob, with the logo Germany 1974.
