Police hunt for flasher

Scarborough police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself on the sea front.

The incident occured when a 57-year-old local woman was walking along South Bay near to the old outdoor swimming pool, when a man dropped his trousers and exposed himself in front of her.

The victim walked away and the offender left the scene.

Police have just released details of the incident, which occured at around 8pm on Tuesday, July 24.

Officers are now appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or has been approached in similar circumstances to come forward.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Alasdair McNeil or Scarborough police.
