Police say man’s death ‘is not suspicious’

Police say they believe there are no suspicious circumstances after a man was found dead at a property in Scarborough.

A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “Officers were called by the ambulance service at around 1.55pm on Tuesday, after the sudden death of a 44-year-old man at a property in Trafalgar Square in Scarborough.

“We there are no suspicious circumstances and are not looking for anyone else in connection with his death.

“Officers are carrying out an investigation to establish the full circumstances which led to his death and will prepare a report for the coroner.”
