Police seek flashing suspect


Police are appealing for help in tracing a man who allegedly exposed himself to a woman and her young child.

The man exposed himself to a local woman and her young child at around 5pm on Thursday, September 5 in West Square opposite Scarborough Train Station. The information has just been released by police,

Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident or can help to identify the suspect to get in touch as soon as possible.

Police believe he may not be local and could have been staying in a hotel or a B&B in the town.

Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 2 – and ask for PC Phil Hazelwood or Scarborough police.
