The car was seized by police on Friday after complaints about people not being able to get past.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: "Whilst officers were waiting for recovery, we had lots of members of the public who were trying to get around, including people with pushchairs and wheelchairs who did comment to us about the difficulties.

"The park and ride was full on Friday and the surrounding streets in Bridlington were chock-a-block with parked cars.

This driver got a shock when his BMW was seized

"If you can't park without blocking a driveway, obstructing a lowered curb or within the law of your highway code expect to have your car seized or ticketed."
